How to declare variable without any value in Python
In this tutorial, we are going to learn about how to declare a variable without assigning any value in Python.
Python is a dynamically typed programming language, so we don’t need a variable until you are assigning any specific value to it. But it is possible to declare a variable without a value.
Using None keyword
To declare a variable without any value, we should assign the variable to a None
keyword in Python.
Here is an example:
empty_variable = None
Note: None means null value in Python.
Similiarly, we can also declare a variable with empty strings and empty lists like this:
name = "" # empty string
fruits = [] # empty list
