Concatenate two strings with space in Python
In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to concatenate the two strings with space in Python.
Concatenation means the joining of two strings into a single string.
To concatenate the two strings with a space, we can use the empty space
" "
in between two strings and concatenate it all using the +
operator.
Here is an example:
a = "Hello"
b = "Python"
c = a+" "+b # adding empty string between them
print(c)
Output:
Hello Python
In Python 3.6 we have been introduced to f-strings, we can use them for adding a space between two strings.
a = "Hello"
b = "Python"
c = f'{a} {b}'
print(c)
Output:
Hello Python
If you have more than two strings to concatenate with a space, you can use the join()
method and pass the all strings in a list format.
Here is an example:
a = "Hello"
b = "Python"
c = "3.6"
result = " ".join([a, b, c])
print(result)
Output:
Hello Python 3.6
