How to add font awesome icons to an Angular app

In this tutorial, we are going to learn about how to add the font awesome icons to an angular app that is created using angular cli.

Adding font awesome icons

1. First, we need to install a font-awesome package using the npm.

npm install font-awesome

2. Open your style.css file and include the font-awesome.css file path like this.

@import "~font-awesome/css/font-awesome.css";

Tilde (~) is referencing the node_modules folder.

Now, you can use the font-awesome icons throughout your app components.
