How to fix the npm Err! Unexpected end of JSON input while parsing

Yesterday, I have updated my node.js to the latest version, when I was trying to install the gatsby node modules using npm install command i see an error like this in my terminal.

npm ERR! Unexpected end of JSON input while parsing near '...c5cea50f4","tarball":'

npm ERR! A complete log of this run can be found in:
npm ERR! /Users/saigowtham/.npm/_logs/2020-04-19T23_20_56_316Z-debug.log

This following error is occurred due to cache corruption in npm, to solve this error we need to clean our npm cache by using the following command.

npm clean cache --force

Note: delete package-lock.json file in your project (if exists).

Now, try to install your packages using the npm install command.
