Set the styles to a body element using JavaScript
In this tutorial, we are going to learn about how to set the styles to a html body element using JavaScript.
Consider, we have a following body
element in our html code.
<body id="body"></body>
Now, we need to set the style to the above element.
To set the styles to a body
element, first we need to access it inside the JavaScript by using the document.body
property.
const body = document.body;
Now, it has a style
property by using that we can set the styles to it.
body.style.display = "block";
body.style.color = "red";
Using setProperty() method
Similarly, we can also set the styles to a body element using the setProperty()
method.
Here is an example:
const body = document.body;
body.setProperty("display", "block");
In the example above, we have passed two arguments to the setProperty()
method, the first argument is css property
and the second argument is value
.
