JavaScript - How to Reverse an Array
In this tutorial, we are going to learn about how to reverse an array in JavaScript.
Using the reverse() method
We can reverse an array in JavaScript by using the built-in `reverse() method.
Here is an example, that reverses the following array:
const arr = ["a", "b", "c"];
arr.reverse();
console.log(arr);
Output:
["c", "b", "a"]
Note: The above method modifies the original array.
Similarly, we can also reverse an array using it for loop. In case you don’t like to use an inbuilt method.
const arr = ["a", "b", "c"];
const reversed = []
for (let i = arr.length-1; i>= 0; i--){
reversed.push(arr[i]);
}
console.log(reversed);
