How to remove commas from a string in JavaScript
In this tutorial, we are going to learn about how to remove all commas from a string in JavaScript.
Consider we have an following string with commas:
const name = "s,a,i";
Now we need to remove the commas from a string and print it like this:
"sai"
Using replace() method
To remove the commas from a string, we can use the replace()
method in JavaScript.
Here is an example:
const name = "s,a,i";
const result = name.replace("/,/g", "");
console.log(result);
Output:
"sai"
In the example above, we have passed two arguments to the replace()
method, the first one is regular expression /,/g
, the second one is an empty string ""
. so it replaces all instances of a comma with an empty string.
